More than 300 delegates convened in Athens from around Europe, the Middle East and Africa to attend the three-day forum. The key objective was to share the vision and strategy for the business and the challenges for the coming year.
Ashfield has managed the previous three annual EMFs, which provided the agency with a great understanding of the client's culture and objectives, helping to ensure a creative and 'fit for purpose' event and a valuable return on investment.
Ashfield managed content, production and logistics. During the seven months of pre-production, delegate feedback from the previous year was used to help design both content and the agenda. Theatrical plenary sessions created an intimate yet immersive experience. Innovative breakout sessions were focused on either external stakeholders or internal case studies. Janssen employees were trained in presenting and moderating, allowing them to own the entire process themselves.
All content was filmed, edited and put online, creating communications collateral for the whole business. The overall feedback has been that this was the most engaging and immersive EMF to date.
